Understanding the local market and the bank’s vision to become Florida’s bank were key in developing the campaign for BankUnited.

OutOfTheBlue created a campaign around the emotional value of being “a local.” With a tagline that became well known in South Florida, our approach was to position BankUnited as the bank for locals and one that recognized the needs of the local market. Every message featured images or thoughts recognized by Floridians. And every headline was written to ingrain an association between Bankunited and Florida residents.
